It looks like lazy, hazy Naturdays are on the horizon this summer.

On Tuesday, Natty Light unveiled its new Naturdays Frozen Icicles in two flavors: Strawberry Lemonade and Pineapple Lemonade. The boozy popsicles will arrive at 8 percent ABV and come in 12-packs with both flavors.

Natural Light, owned by Anheuser-Busch, is known for its cheap beer and, more recently, fruity line extensions. The brand hopes that its popularity and affordability, paired with its new products, can attract “beer reluctant” consumers. “We want to be the preferred alcohol brand — not just for beer — for drinkers between 21 and 30 years old,” Daniel Blake, vice president of US value brands at Anheuser-Busch, told CNN Business.

Natty Light’s efforts to expand beyond beer began with the launch of Natural Light Seltzers in the summer of 2019 (and, some might argue, even before that with its fruit-flavored Naturdays beer line). This coming August, the brand will be venturing into the liquor market for the first time with a trifecta of flavored vodkas: Lemonade, Strawberry, and Black Cherry.

Additionally, keep your eyes peeled at popular drinking hotspots this summer for the “Natty Lemonade Shack,” a mobile lemonade stand that will be giving out free beverages starting in June.

As summer approaches and our hankering for refreshing, boozy ice pops arrives, it will just be a matter of choosing between Natty Light’s popsicles and Truly’s.
