There have been dog influencers and beer influencers, but now Keystone Light is looking for a dog beer influencer — and they’re willing to pay $10,000 for the sponsorship deal.
Earlier this month, the brand’s parent company Molson Coors launched Keystone Keylightful, a “refreshingly sweet” raspberry-lime extension of Keystone Light. To help promote the funky new beer, Keystone is looking for a funky dog to serve as the beer’s mascot, “Lil’ Keezy Breezy,” for a full year.
Dog owners (over the age of 21), who think their pet is a star in the making, have until April 10 to upload a photo of their pooch to Instagram to enter the contest. Photos should be accompanied by an under-100 word caption of why the dog should be the next Lil’ Keezy, and include the hashtags #searchforlilkeezy and #contest. Entrants should also tag @keystonelightofficial in the post. (Alternately, entrants can send an email to [email protected] with their photo and caption.)
The winning dog’s owner will receive $10,000 and a year’s supply of Keystone Keylightful (awarded in the form of a $1,000 check), as well as an official photoshoot and Keystone merch for their nascent dogfluencer.
In addition to making one lucky dog’s day, Keylightful will be helping four-legged friends across the country by donating $50,000 to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
