Amidst the ongoing global pandemic, restaurants and bars are getting creative, finding new ways to extend outdoor dining into the winter months. Today, anyone ambling around a city can find yurts or clear, igloo-like bubbles filled with outdoor diners. Jim Beam announced that one lucky fan will have the chance to secure their own version, complete with holiday cocktails for you and your pod.

Jim Beam is looking to share a little “Kentucky hospitality” with a one-of-a-kind “Beam Snow Globe” experience. Executed like a pop-up, Beam will provide and install three huge “snow globe” domes on the one fan’s yard or driveway.

From there, a physically distant, licensed bartender will mix cocktails for a (small) group. Beam will provide speaker systems, seating, and heaters — but fans will need to provide their own bottles of Jim Beam.

On Dec. 10, fans can log onto the Jim Beam website in the hopes of winning the prize. Designed like an online ticket queue, the “experience” will drop sometime after 12 p.m. EST, at which point customers can try to snag it for just $17.95. The price references the first year the Jim Beam family distilled bourbon, and the one lucky winner will be decided on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Those who miss out on the ultimate prize will still be able to buy Jim Beam holiday cocktail kits for $5, but will have to find another way to inflate the snow globe of their dreams.
