With Father’s Day fast approaching — June 17, guys — so too arrives the frenzied buying of last-minute gifts that, let’s face it, Dad probably has no real use for anyway (seriously, how many pairs of socks can one man own?). Thanks to Jim Beam, however, a handful of lucky dads will this year will receive “the ultimate Father’s Day gift.”
The bourbon producer recently announced “The Bonding Over Bourbon Experience,” a curated trip to the Jim Beam distillery in Kentucky, and the ideal opportunity for some father-child quality time.
Retailing on the Jim Beam store for $24.99 (the same price as a bottle of Jim Beam Black), the package includes two round-trip flights to Kentucky, a two-night hotel stay in downtown Louisville, a behind-the-scenes tour of the Jim Beam American Stillhouse distillery, and an “exclusive experience” with master distiller Fred Noe.
“Father’s Day has always been a special day for me to spend quality time with my dad and now my son, Freddie,” Noe, Jim Beam’s seventh generation master distiller, says in a press release.
“With this unique Father’s Day gift package, we hope to provide the perfect setting for fathers and sons or daughters to share some stories, create some new memories and enjoy some good bourbon together with the Beam family.”
The first round of packages were released Monday, June 4, and have sadly already sold out. Worry not, however! Additional packages are set to be released leading up to Father’s Day, with details of each release being published on the Jim Beam Facebook page.
