Wine trains are a popular attraction, and a great way to enjoy a glass of vino while admiring wine country. And now the concept also extends to tequila! Jose Cuervo wants patrons to be able to appreciate tequila country and the distillery by hopping on the Jose Cuervo Express which starts at the Guadalajara station and runs for two hours through breathtaking, agave-laden Jalisco to the distillery in Tequila, Mexico.

The Jose Cuervo Express features three different train classes to choose from with ranging tiers of luxury. Passengers can opt for the Express Wagon, Premium Wagon, or Premium Plus Wagon. The Express Wagon features snacks and cocktails made with tequila Tradicional and Jose Cuervo Especial with tickets selling for about $100. The Premium Wagon offers patrons table seating and waiter service for about $110 and the Premium Plus Wagon has a private bartender, two waiters, and private table seating for $120.

The train takes passengers to the La Rojeña distillery where patrons take a tour, do a tequila tasting, and have a chance to explore the town of Tequila. It’s a train ride you’ll never forget. Unless of course you have a bit too much Tequila!
