The first-ever collaboration between Hershey’s chocolate and Yuengling, America’s oldest brewery, is a sign that dreams do come true.

In an email press release, the brewery today announced the arrival of the Yuengling Hershey’s Chocolate Porter. The 4.7- percent ABV brew is set to arrive in restaurants and bars in mid-October. It is the first beer collaboration in Hershey’s history.

“We saw a unique opportunity to partner with Hershey’s, a brand known worldwide for its iconic, delicious tasting chocolate, to deliver fans our first-ever beer collaboration,” Jennifer Yuengling, vice president of operations and a sixth-generation brewer, said in the announcement.

“We spent nearly a year developing our Yuengling Hershey’s Chocolate Porter and are excited for the world to indulge in the classic taste of Yuengling Dark Brewed Porter blended with the unmistakable taste of Hershey’s chocolate,” she added.

The brewery added that the beer will be available on draft only and can be found in the following states: Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, New York, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Washington D.C., Delaware, Indiana, and Kentucky.

Even though it’s slated for a limited run, expect to have chocolate in your beer at least until Valentine’s Day.
