If You Find This Golden Beer Can, You Can Win a Free Trip to Ireland

While the elusive “pot o’ gold” of Irish fairy tales remains hidden at the end of a rainbow, beer lovers can get their hands on a golden beer can this March.

Colorado’s Breckenridge Brewery has hidden 100 of the cans nationwide in 12-packs of its Nitro Stout, according to Travel + Leisure. Along with a golden beer can, one lucky drinker will win a trip for two to Ireland.

To stand a chance of winning the vacation to the homeland of Guinness, the 100 lucky people that find a gold can have to post a picture of it on Instagram with the hashtag #GoGoldSweepstakes. Participants in Alabama and California must follow slightly different rules, and are required to post a hashtagged selfie donning gold for St. Patrick’s Day. The contest is running until March 31, and a winner will be randomly selected on April 1.

For those who don’t quite have the luck of the Irish, the unofficial consolation prize is pretty sweet: Drinkers still get to taste Breckenridge’s new Vanilla Porter, Orange Cream Ale, Pumpkin Spice Latte, and Chocolate Orange Stout — the four flavors that make up the 12 pack.
