A trip to Dublin, Ireland to sample the world’s finest pints of Guinness is surely on every beer lover’s bucket list. But what if we told you there’s a travel blog out there that will pay you to do it?
No, really.
Irish Road Trip is looking for one lucky candidate to help settle the debate over who serves the best pint of Guinness in Dublin. The successful applicant will hit up seven pre-determined pubs where they will be required to: “order a pint, consume said pint, snap a photo, and write a 250-word review,” according to the job posting.
Don’t have a fancy camera? No problem: a snap with a phone is all that’s required, as well as space in your calendar to visit each pub over a four-week period in November and December. Oh, and you’ll have to be able to write a captivating review of each pint, but that shouldn’t be hard if you’re drinking the world’s best Guinness in its homeland.
Irish Road Trip is paying €22 ($24) per hour, and two pints per pub will also be compensated. If you think you’re the best candidate for the job, all you need to do is write a 300-word (maximum) review of a great pint of Guinness that you’ve had recently, and submit it before Sept. 28.
If nothing else, it’s the perfect excuse to visit your favorite Irish bar this weekend — for inspiration purposes, of course.
