Fans of Dunkin’ Harpoon will soon have a new lineup of boozy Dunkin’ drinks to try. According to a press release Monday morning, the coffee chain is preparing to launch a new collection of hard iced coffees and hard iced teas under the name Dunkin’ Spiked. Our earlier reporting this month disclosed the release of Dunkin’ Spiked, confirmed by the list of label approvals on the U.S. Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) database.

The Dunkin’ Spiked website shows that the hard coffees and teas will be available in variety packs, each of which includes four flavors. Coffee lovers will have their choice between Original Iced Coffee, Caramel Iced Coffee, Mocha Iced Coffee, and Vanilla Iced Coffee, each canned at 6 percent ABV. For tea lovers, choices include Dunkin’s Slightly Sweet Iced Tea, Half & Half Iced Tea, Strawberry Dragonfruit Iced Tea Refresher, and Mango Pineapple Iced Tea Refresher. The teas will be slightly less boozy than the iced coffees, arriving at 5 percent ABV.

In addition to the mixed packs, both Dunkin’ Spiked Original Iced Coffee and Slightly Sweet Iced Tea will also be available in 4-pack and 6-pack 12 ounce cans, as well as each coming in a single serve 19.2 ounce can. Each flavor of Dunkin’ Spiked is malt-based and produced at the coffee and donut chain’s long-term seasonal brew collaborator, Harpoon Brewery, located in Boston. Now, their collaboration has been solidified as a year-round affair.

“We knew we had the opportunity to create something special when we saw the positive response to our previous seasonal collaborations for Dunkin’-inspired beers. The growing appetite for adult beverages inspired us to put a twist on our customers’ favorite Dunkin’ Iced Coffee, Iced Tea and Refresher flavors,” says Brian Gilbert, vice president of retail business development at Dunkin’. “Dunkin’ Spiked is perfect for day or night enjoyment and comes in eight distinct flavors, available in grocery and package stores later this month. This new line of ready-to-drink adult beverages elevates Dunkin’s offerings, and we know our 21+ fans will love every sip.”

When is Dunkin’ Spiked coming out?

Dunkin’ Spiked Iced Tea is launching at the end of August 2023, while coffee lovers will have to wait until the beginning of September 2023 to try the Dunkin’ Spiked Iced Coffee.

Do the Hard Iced Coffees and Teas Have Caffeine?

Yes, both Dunkin’ Spiked Iced Coffee and Dunkin’ Spiked Iced Tea contain caffeine, though not as much as a standard cup of coffee. Where a typical cup of coffee contains approximately 100 milligrams of caffeine, Dunkin’s hard iced teas contain about 15 to 30 milligrams per 12 ounce serving, depending on the flavor, while the hard iced coffees contain about 30 milligrams per 12 ounce serving, according to a brand representative.
