A Chicago bar is paying tribute to one of the greatest holiday movies of all time with a National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation-themed pop-up.

Last Sunday, the Houndstooth Saloon revealed its newly decorated bar and dining room — both inspired by the Griswold family’s 80’s-style decor, Thrillist reports. The pop-up is slated to run until Feb. 2020, according to the bar’s Facebook page, and to top things off, a Cousin-Eddie-inspired RV will park outside the bar each weekend, offering free hot chocolate.

And that’s just the beginning of the fun. “Past the bar and down the hallway, the second dining space will turn into a tiki bar, inspired by the infamous pool scene,” the Houndstooth Saloon said in a press release. “In the back room, a chest of old clothes and stacks of gift-wrapped boxes will lend a Griswold attic-feel to the space. Expect a burnt, decorated Christmas tree; a bartender in a comfy bathrobe; and one too many Christmas lights.”

In addition to the bar’s regular lineup of menu classics, the pop-up will serve 80’s themed food, including Aunt Bethany’s green Jell-O (minus the cat food) and turkey legs (that aren’t too dry to eat).

As Ellen Griswold famously said, “I don’t know what to say, but it’s Christmas and we’re all in misery.”
