In mid-September, despite widespread reports that Anheuser-Busch was set to debut a Bud Light hard seltzer, the world’s largest brewer remained tight-lipped over any potential release. Today, however, we can officially confirm that Bud Light Seltzer is happening.

As CNN reports, Bud Light Seltzer is set to debut in early 2020 and will arrive in four flavors: black cherry, lemon lime, strawberry, and mango. Each flavor will be made from cane sugar and natural fruit flavors, with 12-ounce cans containing 100 calories.

While this is Bud Light’s first hard seltzer release, it will be the third from parent company Anheuser-Busch, which also owns Bon & Viv and Natural Light seltzer.

With the hard seltzer category surpassing $1 billion in sales this year alone, and predictions that the category could reach $3 billion in sales over the next three years, there truly is a rush to get products on the market.

“Seltzer has brought excitement to the entire category and brought consumers back to beer,” Andy Goeler, Bud Light’s vice president of marketing, said in a press release. “We are looking forward to leveraging the power of the Bud Light brand to help grow the category.”
