Bud Light announced on Wednesday that it’ll make a beer can inspired by Area 51, as long as they get 51,ooo Twitter retweets.
In the tweet was a mockup of what the can could look like: Black and green with a spooky alien head, topped with the signature Bud Light crown.

“We know of no space beer by any other life form which is brewed and aged to be more refreshing,” the can art says. The faux label also reads, “We come in peace.”
When one user asked if the photo was real, Bud Light responded, “51,000 RTs and we’ll make it happen.” At press time, the tweet has around 12,000 retweets.

In an earlier tweet, the brand also said it would offer beer to any aliens that make it out of Area 51.

ICYMI, the promotion is in response to a Facebook event involving thousands of people planning to storm Area 51 that went viral. This being the Internet, it prompted an eternity of memes. The event called “Storm Area 51, They Can’t Stop All of Us” has 1.6 million people who have RSVP’d yes to the event.
