When it comes to action-packed professional sports, baseball simply isn’t one of them. While to some, it is America’s pastime, to many, the best part of going to a ball game is the diverse range of food and craft beers, and occasionally what goes on in the stands.

And so it was on Tuesday night at Petco Park, home of the San Diego Padres, when fan Gabby DiMarco caught a foul ball in her beer cup. How did she toast the incredible feat? By chugging the beer, of course.

It was the top of the fifth when Atlanta Braves’ center fielder Ender Inciarte sent a foul ball sailing into the second deck behind home plate. To the disbelief of all — none more than DiMarco herself — the ball plopped straight into the near-full cup of beer, with nothing but a few drops lost.

“It bounced from behind me. I was trying to catch it all, and it landed in my cup,” DiMarco told MLB.com.

The video quickly went viral and was likely the high-point in an otherwise miserable night for the San Diego native, who witnessed her side lose a crushing 14-1 to the Braves. Ouch.
