Applebee’s Unveils $5 St. Patrick’s Themed Cocktails

For just one Abe Lincoln, you can celebrate St. Patrick’s properly all month long at Applebee’s, after the restaurant unveiled its $5 “Saintly Sips” drink special, which is running until March 29.

The special menu includes two “Mucho” cocktails: the Tipsy Leprechaun and the Pot O’ Gold Colada. Mucho, in this case, means each drink is served in a massive glass that may even rival the size of a pot of gold.

Inspired by the Long Island Iced Tea, the Tipsy Leprechaun consists of Jameson Irish Whiskey, melon liqueur, blue curaçao, sweet and sour mix, and lemon-lime soda. The Pot O’ Gold Colada is decidedly more simple, though probably no less sweet; it’s a frozen Piña Colada made with Captain Morgan and mango.

Applebee’s promises their drinks will “shamrock your world,” but for the price, we’ll be happy either way. Like all of the restaurant’s promotions, not all locations are participating, so be sure to check if things are rockin’ at your local Applebee’s out here.
