There’s a high probability you played with Lego blocks when you were a kid, but unfortunately the realities of adulthood have prioritized a career over becoming a master builder. However, Lego enthusiasts in Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, and Sydney, Australia will have an opportunity to enjoy a pint and reminisce about simpler days when Lego made their architectural dreams a reality. This Lego-themed pop-up bar is sure to be a hit for the fans Down Under.

Pop-up bars have become a popular trend, and they often feature a theme rooted in popular culture such as the Upside Down Bar’s “Stanger Things” motif and Dark Side’s “Star Wars” concept. These bars often pay tribute to cultural icons with themed décor and drink menus, and pay incredible attention to detail. Australia’s Lego pop-up is no exception.

The bar will be constructed out of 1 million Lego pieces, and will display sculptures made from Lego bricks as well as pieces patrons can use to build their own imaginative structures. This new pop-up will give guests a chance to enjoy a drink, play with Lego pieces, and think back on much simpler times. “How long has it been since you pulled out your old building blocks, rounded up your friends and sat around creating and crafting castles, ships and whatever else you can imagine?” reads the promotional copy. “If you’ve been waiting for an excuse, or your parents have given away your once beloved blocks this new pop up adult playground might be just what you’re looking for.”

This Lego pop-up bar will debut sometime during the fall this year. While this pop-up will only be available for Australian residents for now, rumors are the bar will be making stops in Canada and the UK as well in the near future.
