Rosé lovers, fear not! You’re certain to have your fix of Provencal rosé this summer.

According to a recent article by Shanken News Daily, almost 1.3 million cases of Provencal rosé have made their way to America, a tenfold increase since 2010. The renowned rosé producing region of France has reported that 43 percent of their exports came to America this year, thanks to the ever growing demand for the delicious summer water.

Statistics shared by Shanken News Daily show that Chateau d’Esclans, better known for their brand Whispering Angel, sold 200,000 cases of the pink juice to America last year, with an expected 300,000 case sale this upcoming season. Despite the popularity of rosé in retail shops, it’s actually on-premise accounts like restaurants, wine bars, and clubs that account for more of the Provencal rosé case purchases.

Locally, Celebrity chateau owners Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie sold over 90,000 cases of their Provencal rosé Miraval to America last year.

With numbers expected to continue growing, it’s safe to say that rosé is here to stay, and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
