About Renée Alexander

Renée Alexander is a freelance writer with an insatiable lust for travel. In 2019 alone, she and co-author Scott Mansfield visited more than two dozen cities in eight South American countries. Alexander's stories have been published in Saveur, Vice, The Atlantic, New Food Economy and 7x7. Mansfield is the author of Strong Waters: A Simple Guide to Making Beer, Wine and Spirited Beverages at Home. When he isn’t covering the beer scene in the San Francisco Bay Area, he teaches people to make beer, cider, and wine for Workshop SF.
