Martin Johnson has been in the New York City culinary world since 1984, first as a cheesemonger and now as craft beer buyer for Westside Market's East Village location. He also began a career as a freelance writer in 1984 and his work has appeared in Vogue, Rolling Stone, The New York Times, the Washington Post, New York Magazine, Slate, and the Wall Street Journal, where he currently writes about jazz and craft beer.
