Today, Keith takes a break from his climate change series to discuss 2024’s year in wine.
One particular topic that dominated the wine conversation in the U.S. this past year was how to get people into tasting rooms. Napa Valley in particular has been struggling with attracting guests, likely because Napa is simply too challenging to figure out. There are too many options, prices are out of control, and almost every tasting room needs to be booked and paid for in advance, and that’s a lot of pressure. This pressure has caused wine lovers — or those who are wine-curious — to perhaps avoid visiting Napa and many other wine regions across the country in fear of doing things “wrong.”
To encourage wine lovers everywhere to get out there and try some wines, Keith discusses the wine regions outside of Napa and Sonoma that blew him away this past year. Tune in for more.
