It’s important to have reasonable expectations when you step into a bar, restaurant, or lounge. Not every establishment will have your favorite beer on draft, or your preferred glass of Chardonnay, or even the exact gin you love in your Martini. At the same time, though, there are some basic expectations that are definitely fair to have: Your glassware should be clean, the bartender should know how to make the drinks on their cocktail list, and you should be able to order another drink in a timely fashion.
You’d think those would be universal truths in the beverage world, but as Adam and Zach discuss on this week’s podcast, that’s not quite the case.
