The second week of February has been a whirlwind on the weather front in the northern half of the United States. It’s been hot(ish), it’s been snowy (a lot), and it’s been freezing (below freezing). In other words, it’s been prime weather to make you sick. That means it’s time for some medicine, and we know just what you need: the Penicillin Cocktail.

It only takes one Penicillin to improve your mind, body, and soul. Two types of Scotch may seem like a lot for one drink to hold, but it’s important. The blended Scotch adds some volume and breadth to the cocktail, while the Islay single malt hits with a strong smokey kick. Both liquors are balanced out with lemon juice, spiced up with a hint of ginger, and leveled out with sweet honey. The result is a drink that can heal any ailment in the world. Or at least make you think you’re healed.
