Chinese food around the holidays is an American tradition. Even Ralphie Parker’s family made a trip to their local Chinese restaurant on Christmas day in A Christmas Story, which ended up becoming one of the film’s most iconic scenes.

Chinese food is great for groups of wine lovers because it has a wide variety of flavors that cause each dish to go well with different wines, making pairing a ton of fun. One of our favorite things to do around the holidays is to grab a bunch of different bottles, order a wide variety of Chinese food and sit down with a bunch of friends sharing it all.

But let’s face it, with so much wine and food, there are going to be leftovers. Thankfully, the Coravin allows us to drink those wines without ever popping the cork, so any wine we don’t finish can go back in the fridge and stay fresh for weeks, even months, which you definitely can’t say will also apply to your Chinese leftovers.
