The Story Behind The Cola Old Fashioned

They say there’s nothing quite like cheering on your team in the stadium, but those folks probably haven’t tried sinking into a warm couch with a cold drink in hand, one made with Bulleit Bourbon. Why be forced to choose between cheering on your team and enjoying an easy Sunday afternoon when you can have both?

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ ounces Bulleit Bourbon
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 1 ½ ounces cola
  • Orange twist (for garnish)

Directions

  1. Using a sharp knife and a cutting board, remove a long slice of orange skin. Try to leave as little pith on the peel as possible. Gently curl into a twist for garnish.
  2. In a rocks glass, combine sugar and bourbon and gently stir to combine.
  3. Gently pour in cold cola and add one large ice cube.
  4. Add orange twist to garnish.
