Who doesn’t love truffles? Or ‘truffle oil,’ which we put in quotes because…well, just search for the truth about truffle oil. Moody Tongue Brewing Company in Chicago has decided to go for the real deal, by infusing shaved truffles into their $120 ‘Shaved Black Truffle Pilsner.’ We guess a Pilsner would let the taste of the truffles shine through, but it seems like a stout or a porter would probably have made a bit more sense. Then again who are we to judge without having tasted this concoction. At least you get 22 ounces of beer for the $120 tab.
