It seems Sam Adams has drawn inspiration from Krispy Kreme, which has gained widespread recognition over the past few weeks for offering free donuts to those who can prove they’ve been vaccinated for Covid-19.

The Boston-Beer-owned company has announced that starting Monday, April 12, it will send $7 to drinkers who post a picture of their vaccination bandage or sticker on Instagram or Twitter and hashtag it #ShotforSam.

Sam Adams will send the money via Cash App to the first 10,000 people to post, and the rules and regulations for the promotion can be found on its website.

With the seven bucks intended to go towards a celebratory drink, “beer and a shot” just took on a whole new meaning.
