With hard seltzers such as White Claw, Truly, and Bon & Viv dominating headlines in 2019, it’s easy to forget that seltzers also arrive in a non-alcoholic format. But an impending release from LaCroix could yet challenge that status quo in 2020.

Announced via its social media channels last Tuesday, LaCroix is set to roll out a Limoncello-flavored sparkling water next year. The social media posts feature an illustration of the no-ABV release surrounded by lemons and set to a backdrop that appears to be Italy’s Amalfi coast.

The seltzer brand also included the caption: “The Extravagance of Delicious #LaCroixLimonCello Coming 2020.”

LaCroix has not yet released any further details on the new flavor, though it promises to be a delicious summer mixer. As to whether it can claw back hard seltzer converts, we’ll just have to wait and see.
