As the disastrous North Bay wildfires continue to burn through Napa, Sonoma, Mendocino, and surrounding regions, those affected are in desperate need of food, shelter, and supplies. Relief efforts are underway, and any help counts. Here’s a list of ways that you can help immediately.

  • Donate to the United Way of the Wine Country, which will direct all donations to fire relief and recovery effort.
  • North Bay Wildfire Emergency Fund is accepting donations.
  • The Napa Valley Community Disaster Relief Fund, enacted after the area’s 2014 earthquake, is accepting donations.
  • This GoFundMe campaign is raising money to purchase necessary provisions such as cots, sleeping bags, non-perishable foods, and hygienic items to evacuees at the Mentor Me at the Cavanagh Recreation Center and the Petaluma Fairgrounds and Veterans Center. Items are already being palletized and will be driven up this week.
  • This winery-organized GoFundMe campaign is raising funds to be spread out evenly across the following first responder organizations: Sonoma Valley Fire and Rescue Authority, Napa County Fire Department, Lake County Fire and Rescue, Santa Rosa Fire Department, and the Redwood Credit Union-North Bay Fire Recovery Fund.
  • The City of Santa Rosa has started a YouCaring campaign for Tubbs Fire victims in Santa Rosa.
  • This YouCaring program geared towards first responders is raising money and recruiting volunteers to help feed hungry firefighters.
