Young or old, when Halloween comes, dressing up and eating sweets knows no bounds. But when it comes to for trick-or-treating, age limits usually apply.
Not for Mary Spaeth, a 91-year-old from Zion, Ill., who proved that there’s no such thing as being too old to trick or treat, especially when the trick is bringing treats to other people’s doors. Spaeth, or “Baba” as she’s known by her grandchildren, tricked everyone by delivering M&Ms and candy kisses to the kids, and wine and pizza for the grown-ups. She even dressed up for the occasion.
