American Airlines is now serving Krug Champagne in its “Flagship First Dining” lounges. Of course, there is a catch: This special section, and thus its bubbles, are reserved for first class passengers only.

According to travel blog, View from the Wing, Krug will be served in select lounges in New York, Miami, and Los Angeles, “until at least March,” a spokesperson said. “If we receive positive responses, we’ll keep it around a bit longer.”

We’re not sure how free Krug could possibly elicit negative responses. The lauded Champagne producer is not only one of the best in the region, it’s also extremely expensive—some bottles even retail for up to $2,000. In other words, this is serious juice. We hope the select few who enjoy it will appreciate it, and maybe sneak a bottle into the main lounge.
