Hard seltzer has officially exploded. From the 2012 debut of SpikedSeltzer (now Anheuser-Busch-owned Bon & Viv) to the White Claw summer of 2019, beverage makers have released dozens of options for spritz-seeking consumers. The category is forecast to grow to $3 to $4.5 billion over the next two to five years.
While no alcoholic beverage is “healthy,” most of these brands celebrate their low calories and carbs. Flavors include grapefruit, black cherry, and lime, and inventive combinations like Pineapple Pomelo, Pear Elderflower, and Raspberry Rosé.
