The Story Behind The Festive Punch For One

Don’t like champagne? No problem! This week we concocted an effervescent cocktail to be enjoyed over the holiday season which combines a little London Dry Gin with some great accentuating flavors. Crème de Cassis is great for adding that festive color and a deliciously sweet flavor to any cocktail. For some fruity citrus flavor, we’ve also included fresh lemon juice balanced with a little triple sec, which adds another dimension to this wonderful libation. Those light notes of orange come through with every sip. To lengthen this cocktail and give it some brightness, we topped it all off with a touch of some ginger ale, which also adds a little spice and brings all the flavors together into a symphonic explosion of delight.

  • 1.5 ounces London Dry Gin
  • ½ ounce Triple Sec (Cointreau)
  • ½ ounce Crème de Cassis
