Lovers of high end groceries and specialty drink options are in for a treat in 2018: German supermarket chain Lidl is opening up 100 stores on the East Coast, according to Business Insider.

No, your local Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods isn’t enough.

“After three years of research, we discovered that US consumers don’t like discount groceries,” an announcement presentation says. It also compared Lidl to a cross between Trader Joe’s and Harris Teeter, and said that the restaurant “will sell high-end brands, quality not quantity, best products only.”

That’s all fine and well, you might be thinking, but what about the important things like alcohol and coffee? Lidl will have you covered there too with a focus on “locally sourced products, wine, and coffee,” Business Insider writes.

If the alcohol line up is anything like the line up for the Lidl in England, America is in for a treat.
